Data collected when visiting the website

When connecting to our web server, technical data is collected automatically: the visited domain, date and time of the request, referring page, access status, browser and operating system used, IP address and the volume of data transferred.

This data is collected to ensure a smooth connection and convenient use of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in system security and stability (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of collection.

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, your details are stored to process your inquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related requests. We do not pass this data on without your consent and delete it once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Fonts (Google Web Fonts)

To display fonts consistently, we use Google Web Fonts. When a page is loaded, the fonts are fetched from Google servers (usually in the USA); in doing so, your IP address may be transmitted to Google. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an optimised and consistent presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies & local storage

This website uses only technically necessary cookies or local storage (localStorage) to save your preferences (e.g. theme and language) and the connection status of your wallet. No advertising or tracking cookies are set and no user profiles are created. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in functionality and usability (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can manage this storage via your browser settings; if disabled, the functionality of the website may be limited.

Data sharing with third parties

Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is expressly stated, you have consented (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), it is necessary to assert legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), it is required by law (lit. c) or necessary for contract processing (lit. b).

To operate the service we use carefully selected external service providers (e.g. web hosting). They are bound by our instructions and, where required, committed via data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; they do not pass this data on to third parties.

Data retention

The retention period is based on the relevant statutory retention periods (e.g. from commercial and tax law). After the period expires, the data is routinely deleted, unless it is still required for contract fulfilment or due to legitimate interests.

Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
